Lila Rose is an accomplished, brilliant and inspired director and playwright with whom I worked on And Baby Makes Seven, Herself, and The Biography of a Constellation. She is also a founding member of the Temporary Theater Company.

Andrew Hertz is a brilliant composer and music director. Andy is also an MFA graduates of NYU Tisch’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, writing his thesis musical Flipside with Mike.
Andy has also written a musical Torah! Torah! Torah! with Steven Levenson that debuted at Brown University this past summer. He is currently teaching a music theater writing course at Brown University and somehow finds time to also music direct and play for the hilarious Apple Sisters. |

His recently commissioned musical, The Wonderful World of Zidney (book and lyrics by Shawn Northrip), was read as part of the Kennedy Center’s Page to Stage Festival. He has also written music for Sunday in Montgomery (commissioned by Troy State University) and the film Rupture with Tommy Newman. He wrote book and lyrics for Flipside (2007 Frederick Loewe Award winner) with composer Andrew Hertz. Mike’s songs have been performed at Ars Nova (Mike Pettry: The Voices in My Head), Don’t Tell Mama’s, The Duplex, and The Daryl Roth DR2 Theatre. Mike continues to accompany and music direct in New York City. He has also played guitar for a reading of The Black Suits at the Zipper Theater (opening at MCC, May 2008) and Things To Ruin: The Songs of Joe Iconis at Ars Nova (NYMF) and Joe’s Pub. Mike has a BA in piano and composition from Shepherd University and an MFA in musical theatre writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. media page of my website. |
